A Sanctuary of Hope for Childhood Cancer Families
At the heart of our mission lies the Rainbow House — a service project by the Lions Club of JB Austin dedicated to supporting families of children battling cancer.
We understand that when a child is facing a life-threatening illness, the presence of their loved ones becomes an essential part of the healing process. However, many families must travel far from home for access to specialized treatment, often leaving behind their jobs, communities, and support systems. The emotional and financial toll can be overwhelming.
Rainbow House is located just steps away from Hospital Sultan Ismail (HSI) in Johor Bahru. It provides free lodging, comfort, and care for families whose children are receiving cancer treatment. Our goal is simple yet profound — to keep families together during the toughest times so that no child has to fight alone.
We believe that healing happens not only through medicine, but also through love, togetherness, and the strength of family. By relieving financial burdens and creating a home-like environment, Rainbow House empowers families to stay close, stay strong, and support their little warriors every step of the way.
彩虹屋为癌症儿童家庭带来希望的避风港
狮子会彩虹屋是新山奥斯汀狮子会最核心的服务项目之一，旨在陪伴与支持那些正在为孩子抗癌而奔波的家庭。
我们深知，当一个孩子面临重大疾病时，最需要的是亲人的陪伴与支持。但现实中，许多家庭为了让孩子接受更好的治疗，不得不离开家乡，背井离乡、暂停工作，承受着巨大的经济与情感压力。
彩虹屋就坐落在新山中央医院（Hospital Sultan Ismail, HSI）旁边，专为住院治疗的儿童癌症家庭提供免费的住宿与照护环境。我们的目标很纯粹，就是让家人可以在最艰难的时刻团聚在一起，不给孩子留下“独自作战”的孤单。
我们相信，真正的疗愈不仅来自医学，也来自爱、陪伴与家庭凝聚的力量。透过减轻经济负担、营造家的温暖，彩虹屋协助家庭在风雨中坚强同行，陪伴孩子勇敢面对生命的挑战。
